Delegate Information for PMO Conference 2020

Registration

The registration takes place at the main entrance to the conference venue. This is located on the ground floor at street level and will be signposted PMO Conference 2020

On arrival you will be asked to register at the main desk. A conference badge will be handed to you. Please ensure you keep the badge on at all times.

All delegates must be pre-registered to access the conference – no bookings are taken on the day.

Location

The PMO Conference 2020 takes place on Wednesday 3rd June at Mermaid Conference, Blackfriars. Further details, maps and transportation can [be accessed here]

For access and any arrangements that may be needed at the venue [please contact us] with your request and we can arrange that. The venue is fully step-free accessible.

A cloakroom is available at the venue; luggage can also be stored securely.

Wifi is available and access details will be given on the day of the conference.

VISA Assistance

If you are travelling from outside the UK and need a VISA assistance letter [please complete your details here].

A letter will then be sent to you once your booking has been confirmed.

Catering

All breaks and lunch is provided at the conference.

When you registered you were asked for any special dietary requirements.If someone else booked for you and you’d like to check that the right dietary requirements were requested [please contact us] and we can check.

We cater for vegetarian and gluten free as a matter of course. For any other diets [please contact us] with details and we’ll make sure you’re catered for.

Timings

The doors to the conference open at 8am and breakfast is available. We encourage people to get here early to have time to visit the exhibition and to start your networking early.

The first keynote takes place at 9am.

There is a coffee break mid morning, lunch around 12.30 and a further break in the afternoon.

The conference ends at 5.45pm. Please consider staying to the end of the conference and joining us for the After-Conference Party which kicks off from 6pm.

Accomodation

If you are looking to stay in London for the conference, our recommendation is to stay within the St Paul’s area. The Barbican and Clerkenwell areas provide value for money and give you access to a quirkier side of London. Consider Airbnb as one of your options in these areas for some of the hippest apartments. For those looking for something more traditional and corporate, around the St Paul’s Cathedral area is a good bet.

For the cost conscious – Premier Inns are a good option [Blackfriar’s is your closest] and our preferred choice for something a little more expensive is the [Montcalm at the Brewery] [get in touch] with us if you’d like to stay here and we can find the best deal for you.

 

Is there a Certificate of Attendance available?

A Certificate of Attendance is available on the day for your attendance at the conference. This can be used for your CPD or PDU points.

How do I attend the After-Party?

You will be asked to register separately for the After-Party. Places are limited to 150 due to the size of the boat.

You will receive an email about this and issued an invitation on the day of the conference to enable you to join the party.

I'd like to attend the PMO Learn! event on the 2nd June - is it being held at the same place as the PMO Conference 2020?

Yes it is, it’s at Mermaid Conference in the Upper and Lower River Rooms.

More details will be provided with your joining instructions for that event.

Is there a conference app?

Yes there is, the conference app becomes available to download one month before the conference starts.

You will be emailed about gaining access to that.

Can I just come and take a look around the exhibition?

No, the exhibition is just available for those attending the conference.
